Fates Tricky Methods 3

(Odd Trio x Reader)

Chapter 3~ I’ve decided to post every week! So chapter 4 should be up shortly!

I ended up making a VERY long chapter…sorry there was just so much to cover and my writing got ahead of me…I think this is damn near 3,000 words…

Anywhore~

Please enjoy!~

“So let me get this straight. You are seriously letting them dress…..like that?” I asked Yao as he prepared for the departure of the dinner.

“Yes. Why not? They’d look very handsome if you ask me.” Yao stated flatly.

“But why must they dress like nobles?” I couldn’t help but complain, I mean really! They are coming to an aristocrat dinner, who wouldn’t worry for their friends lives?

I know, for a fact that they will be thought to be in fraud.

“Yes, prince-“ I threw my hand up.

“(F/n) Yao, we’re friends.” He nodded and continued.

“(F/n), they’ll be fine, and I’m sure they’ll really enjoy something like this growing up like they did.” Yao’s golden eyes went glassy as he recalled a memory.

I sighed before plopping onto the ground in defeat.

“Whatever, if they get caught-“

“We won’t get caught (f/n) so please don’t worry so much.” Lukas said quietly; I turned my eyes upward over by the stairs to see the men of the hour.

“You guys will look great.” I smiled before Francis helped me up.

“You really think so!? Although, I feel like Feliks could have gone easy on the ruffles. I feel like I’m going to be eaten alive!” Vlad exaggerated by lifting his arms up high.

“Yes, If you just keep quiet I’m sure Lucia won’t notice a thing. Which means you all can sit at the table.” I couldn’t help but smile, even to this day my friends have never been able to enter past the gates.

“Good to hear (f/n)!” Francis smiled cheekily.

“Here, remember your jobs!” Yao sighed before face palming.

“Why did I even agree to this?” I giggled.

“You said, I quote: You three are old enough to go into the castle without killing anyone so I give you my full trust.” I even put my hand over my heart just like Yao did.

“Yeah, yeah, don’t make me regret it!” Without another word Lukas grabbed the large carte of fresh baked sweets.

“Lets get going I don’t want to be late.” I said quickly.

It had to have been at least five thirty.

“Here, I have to go ahead of you all, promise me that you’ll be ok.” They nodded.

“We’ll be fine (f/n)! Don’t worry so much!” Vlad smiled before him and Francis pushed me out of the small bakery.

“See you then!” They closed the door quickly.

“Well then….I guess I should hurry back.” I said to my self as I took the short walk back to the castle.

“I think you’d look the best in this princess!” I glared at my maid, Bella.

She was nice and all but damn! She could become a she devil when it came to perfection.

“This one! Oooo! With this necklace! No, no, no!” I could feel the dresses being ripped off and stuck back on.

“Be-“

“Here! Here! This one matches your pretty hair!”

“Bell-“

“Shh here I’m sure the queen would just adore you in this.” She lifted a bright pink ball gown, ew.

“BELLA!” I shouted earning a glare; she was in her element.

“Here, try on this on!” She handed me a teal gown adorned with black lace and lighter shades of blue-green ruffles.

I like this dress, not too much and not completely bland of color. Perfect.

“I….I like it.” She smiled.

“YESH! I did it!” I stared at Bella wide eyed….what in the living…

She continued to pounce around before just smiling.

“You’ll see later! But now it’s time to go!” She grabbed my gloved hand and was about to take me to the dinning room when she stopped and looked at me wide eyed.

“Why are we-“ She put a finger to her lips.

“Listen.”

“I now present the King and Queen of England, and their son Allistor.” One of the guards bellowed loudly.

I felt my face go white….I was really going to get married..

“Princess! I almost forgot!” Bella let go of my arm and ran to one of my many closets.

“Here!” She handed me my crown.

It was a soft rose gold covered in delicate designs stopping in the front where a large diamond sat.

Mama had this crown made for me when I was seven.

Before I could stop myself from crying a memory came to me.

Flash back

“Mama do I really have to wear a crown?! They’re heavy and ugly!” The small princess yelled to her smiling mother.

“Why yes, what princess doesn’t have a crown?” She patted her daughter’s head.

“But mama!” She continued to complain.

“(F/n), how would your prince charming know that you’re a princess without your crown? I’m sure he’d be confused and go find another princess.” Her mother warned gently.

“Oh mama, my prince will know who I am from a mile away!” She insisted while pulling on her mothers dress.

“That’s why I don’t need this stupid crown.” She smiled before opening her mothers hands and putting the large crown into them.

“How about this. I could go and have another crown made especially for you? How does that sound?” The small girl thought for a moment before agreeing.

“Yes! Mama I’d like that!” Her mother grabbed her hands and danced in a circle with her.

“I’m glad you think so.” They giggled before falling to the ground in a happy daze.

Flashback end

“Miss (f/n)! Are you alright!” I heard my lady in waiting say before grabbing my face.

“Look at that! You ruined your makeup! Please, come this way.” I was out of my daze and blinked a few times before following her to my dressing table.

“We won’t have enough time to re-do your makeup so lets just go natural? You have such lovely features! I’m sure your husband will be pleased.” I blushed at the compliment but then my stomach turned at the word ‘husband.’

“I-I suppose.” As the older women completed my makeup I couldn’t help but sigh.

Where were my friends? I told them that they’d have to be my support.

“Alright princess! It’s time! Go on!” I felt a slight push before shuffling my way down the large hallway.

“May I just say that you look amazing princess?” I quickly looked to my side to see one of my guards.

“Gracie Mathias.” I almost forgot my loyal guards specifically chosen for me when I was a child.

“You’re welcome but it is true!” I giggled slightly before passing by the others,

“You look great, ja?” I smiled once more, Berwald wasn’t much of a talker but he actually took the time to compliment me.

“Yes! You look amazing!” I looked to his side to see my last guard, a Finnish men named Tino.

These three made up my secondary group of friends whom I would talk to when I was at home.

“Gracie, to all of you, please wish me luck!” They nodded.

“This is your last chance (f/n)! If you want to marry me do it now!” I laughed at Mathias’ antics, he’d been asking to marry me since we were very young.

“I’m sorry Mathias, but I have to decline.” He smiled cheekily.

“That guy has no idea what he has but alright, if you say so, Princess.” I nodded and they all followed behind me as I walked down the grand stairway.

“I present the princess of the kingdom of two Naples, Princess (f/n) (m/n) Marzia Vargas.” The jester said loudly.

I’m glad I spoke with my guards before coming here or else I might have vomited.

I watched as everyone’s eyes widened and they rose.

Was I really that funny looking?

As I had made it to the last few steps I watched as a red headed man ran over to my side and bent down.

“My princess.” He grabbed my hand and kissed it.

“Ciao.” I spoke, the side that I was breed to do came out.

I really did sound like royalty.

“I am prince Allistor Kirkland of England.” My face went a little white…this was my husband?

“It’s a pleasure Allistor.” He rose and I actually got a good look at him.

He was beyond handsome. His bright green eyes showed a hint of playfulness, and his vibrant red hair was so nicely styled. He was perfect but I didn’t feel the spark of love like I did when I was with….

Him.

“Sorella!” I looked to the table to see my older brother Feliciano and his wife Monica, a princess from Germany.

“I’m so proud of you!” I smiled as he ran over to us and gave me a big hug.

“T-thank you Feli.” He squeezed a little harder before letting go and kissing my forehead.

“You’re growing up too fast for comfort…” He said ever so softly; I smiled before walking to my assigned seat next to Allistor.

Before I knew it the introductory portion of dinner was over and I had gotten a good idea of what life in England would be like.

It was a colder land unlike the exotic southern Italy I was so use to, but I suppose I could get use to snow and colder weather sooner or later.

And it didn’t take me very long to realize that Allistor was a prankster, he played about six pranks before dinner was even brought out.

“YOU BASTARD! GOD-“ My oldest brother Lovino growled at the ‘confused’ Allistor as the queen sent him a glare causing him to calm down. A little.

“What ever do ye mean?” I couldn’t help but laugh at how red Lovi’s face was.

“You got soup IN my pants! How is that even possible!?” Allistor smirked.

“A magician never reveals their secrets.” That did it, Lovi was going to kill him.

“YOU SON OF A-BITCH!” Lovi rose his fist when, Valinteno, my last brother yelled something.

“Dinners ready!” That caused everyone to look over to the colorful platter of foreign delicacies.

I still wondered why father wanted to bring in Asian food instead of Italian; I suppose it was because he wanted to show how good we were at trade?

“Here you are! Everyone please enjoy, this is from ‘A taste of Asia’ a very popular Asian restaurant.” The queen clapped her hands before the servants came over and began putting the food down.

When it came to me I noticed something.

“(f/n), I told you we’d be here.” I looked up quickly to see my Romanian friend halfway down the table passing out silverware

“A glass of wine?” This time I got a good look to see Francis pouring me a glass of wine.

“Graci-“ He was already done.

“(f/n)?” My dinner was placed out in front of me by none other then Lukas.

I watched as they went back into the kitchen still in their work clothes.

I guess they plan on making a formal appearance later.

I ignored the weirdness before eating.

It was a fairly quiet dinner aside from my fathers constant laughter with the English king, and the rude remarks towards each other from the Queens.

“So, princess what do you like to do?” I looked from my plate of rice to see Allistor’s kind smile.

“I um…. I like to sing…” Was that really all that I liked to do? Well I couldn’t tell him that I liked to sneak out of the castle and run around town with a bunch of working class boys.

“Really? I’d love to hear ye sing later.” I blushed slightly at his accent; it was very cute.

“Sicuro.” He looked confused? OH!

“That means ‘sure’ in Italian.”

“I guess you’ll also need to teach me Italian too.” He scratched the back of his head before blushing slightly.

I found him perfect, I would have easily fallen for him if I hadn’t already been in love…

“I wonder when dessert will be re-“ Feliciano was cut off by the doors being thrust open by unknown strangers.

“What the…who are you? And why didn’t the guards stop you?” The queen was furious.

“My queen we thought that the princess had more suitors. These men claim to have been chosen by they king as more suitors.” Tino said a little frightened by her anger.

“What in the world. (fathers/n)!” She glared daggers at my papa.

“W-what sweetheart?” He looked really scared.

“Who are these people?” She pointed to the cloaked figures.

“I don’t k-“

“My kind king, thank you for allowing us to court your daughter.” One of them had walked over to papa and removed his cloak.

You’ve got to be kidding me!

“I am Prince Lukas Bondevik of Norway, a pleasure.” Lukas bent down and kissed one of my fathers many rings in respect.

“Ah, now I remember, si, these are more choses for my dear only daughter, (f/n). I didn’t think that it would be fair for her seeing as she’s so independent with things.” Mine and everyone else at the table’s mouths were open wide.

“Calm down. I never promised her hand to you I only agreed to the courting.” Either papa had drunk himself stupid or he was very sneaky to have gotten this passed Lucia.

“Please, you two come over and present yourselves.” The other cloaked figures walked over to my father and bent down.

“Thank you for this opportunity!” Vlad lifted his cloak over and kissed my fathers other hand.

“I am Prince Vladimir Popescu of Romania.” I still felt my mouth open.

Whom I presumed to be Francis also kissed my fathers rings.

“I am Prince Francis Bonnefoy of France; may I win your daughters heart.” I blushed.

“Well then tomorrow we will let the courting formally begin.” The king clapped his hands to finalize this and sat back down.
